Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre from a very young time. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of the campus. When he joined in 1953 the Air Force, he appeared together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. They got married in 2005, and had their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter along with his wife left the military in the year 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter as a student at Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple by themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It lasted 6 years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) during this period.
