Mena and Missy
Mena Alexandra Suvari (born 13th February 1979) is an American fashion designer, actress and model. After beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997, she made her debut as a film actress in Nowhere. She made the transition to important roles thanks to her performance on American Beauty for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered the attention of film critics. She has appeared with American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) in addition to playing the leading role in Sugar & Spice (2001). The year 2002 saw her appearance in Spun the independent drama as well as the thriller of 2004. In 2004, she was a guest on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. The show also included Day of The Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the movie version of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a model as a model for Lancome Paris Adaptive in addition to she's been in a variety of blogs and magazines such as Vogue. Suvari has been a loyal supporter as well as an activist of the respected African relief group, the African Medical and Research Foundation. She is also active in female empowerment issues and has been involved in charities that are devoted to breast cancer, and the End Violence Against Women campaign. She is best known for her role in television shows like Dark Angel Heroes The Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper as well as the most viewed of them all Rookie Blue. She has appeared in high-profile items such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. Missy's filmography includes Backcountry Something Red as well as Wide Awake.
