Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She is also an actor. She's attractive and intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. The actress gained notoriety after numerous popular role in series. For instance, in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. After her popularity, she was offered major part in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Around the same time she was playing lead roles in some films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress.
