Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and actress best known for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from an extended family with a lot of problems. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. When she was a child, she had a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance when her mother stabbed her father after he got too intimate with her.
